The lens temperature measuring method uses a temperature sensor supported by the carrier (2,5) for the lens device contained within the laser machining head (1), with contactless transmission of the measured temperature to a reception device (11) incorporated in the housing of the laser machining head. An Independent claim for a laser machining head is also included.
