MAST FOR MATERIAL TRANSPORT CAGE OPERATING APPARATUS FOR USE IN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

PURPOSE: A mast is provided to improve working efficiency and accomplish labor saving by allowing construction material to be directly transported from lower to upper stairs in correspondence to the increasing height of building. CONSTITUTION: A mast is characterized in that racks(24,26) are fixed at each center of both flanges(20,22) of a rail(18) having an H-shaped cross section, stoppers for preventing escape of transport cage are fixed at the upper end and the lower end of the rail, and a buffer spring(32) is fixed onto the stopper fixed at the lower end of the rail. Racks are constituted by a plurality of unit racks(32), and each end of unit racks is fixed, via a bolt(46) and a nut(48), to brackets(34) attached to both flanges of the rail.
