<p>A heat exchanger (40) is located on either side of the brake rotor and has rectangular channels (41) of increasing radius about the rotor axis. Cooling water enters the outside channel through a conduit (46) and proceeds through orifices (42) to two final orifices (42a,42b) which each take half the flow towards the exit pipe (47). Pins (45) prevent reverse flow and the sense of water circulation is continuous but opposed in the two exchangers.</p> |
