PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide type multi-refill writing tool, regulated in the movement of a cap into axial and rotating directions, not dislocated easily, improved in assembling property and capable of mounting the cap without being separated from a telescopic mechanism. SOLUTION: In the slide type multi-refill writing tool, on which the cap is mounted, the cap is mounted by a method wherein a receiving chamber is formed by defining in a radial direction and an inserting hole, communicating with the receiving chamber, is formed at the rear end of the receiving case while a projection having a projected pawl is formed on the bottom surface of the cap at a position opposed to the receiving chamber and the projection of the cap is inserted into the inserting hole to engage the pawl with an engaging part formed in the receiving chamber.
