PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vacuum cleaner which obtains specified amount of circulating emission and enough effect of a decrease in noise. SOLUTION: A cleaner body 1 in which an electric air blower chamber 8 attached with an air blower 2 is set in and an inhalator, not shown in the picture, which leads to the electric air blower 2 are fixed, and the electric air blower 2 above and the inhalator are connected by an inhaling passage of the air the electric air blower 2 inhales and an exhausting passage 9 which has at least partial exhaust air from the electric air blower 2 flow back to the inhalator written above, and a filter 11 is attached to an emission outlet 7 besides the exhausting passage 9 in the electric air blower chamber 8, and the amount of emission which flows back to the inhalator above is increased because of the air resistance through the filter 11.
