PURPOSE: To mold a closed area with a high accuracy, which is encircled by a contour line. CONSTITUTION: The optically molding method is characterized in such that a solid resin model W is obtained by scanning beam LB on the level of optically setting resin liquid 1 and successively piling up cured scan-curing layers 51, and in forming the molding area of a contour cross-sectional layer, beam is scanned at its inside only at a specific distance (r1) along the outline OL of the molding area for curing it. Also, beam is raster-scanned on the inside molding area only at the specific distance (r2) of the outline OL.
