摘要 PURPOSE: A hybrid rapid prototyping method performing both deposition and machining is provided to effectively shorten total forming time by preventing an object from being chopped for forming small shapes, and accurately manufacture various shapes in which the surface of the prototype formed material is not rough by machining the machining feature segments at once. CONSTITUTION: The hybrid rapid prototyping method performing both deposition and machining comprises a prototype back surface machining step (11) of roughing and finishing the back surface of a prototype; a prototype deposition step (12) of coating an adhesive on the back side machined prototype and depositing the coated prototype after rotating the back side machined prototype to 180 degrees of an angle; and a prototype front surface machining step (13,14,15,16) of roughing, finishing, and shape profiling the front surface of the deposited prototype, wherein the method further comprises performing a main machining cycle process consisting of the prototype back surface machining step, the prototype deposition step and the prototype front surface machining step repeatedly; and a subsidiary process of drilling, milling or grinding.
