PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel cord which has good rubber permeability and good fatigue resistance in spite of a simple structure, has a uniform cord shape, and can be produced by one process at a low cost. SOLUTION: This steel cord produced by arranging four to eight side wires around two core wires and twisting the wires with each other, characterized in that at least one of the core wires is flat and has waves in the short diameter direction and in that the two core wires are twisted with each other and collectively twisted at the same pitch as that of the side wires. |
