PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize power saving of a facility type heater, i.e., a built-in heater in summer. SOLUTION: A remote controller 3 monitors operation status and, when heating operation is not used for a specified time or more, an energy saving mode ON signal is transmitted to a control section 1e. The control section 1e breaks a remote control power supply circuit 1i in the control section 1e upon receiving the signal to cut off power supply to the remote controller 3 transmitting the energy saving mode ON signal. By this method, energy consumption of the remote controller 3 can be eliminated. The same control can be performed for a remote controller 5 and a remote controller 7 so that standby power consumption can be cut in off-season. If an energy saving mode OFF switch 11 in the control section 1e is pressed, all the remote control power supply circuits 1i, 1j, 1k are connected to restore the power supply to the remote controllers 3, 5, 7 and operation control by every remote controller is enabled.
