PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery for allowing the improvement in cycle characteristics while increasing its capacity and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprising a positive electrode and a negative electrode consisting of a collector and an active material layer provided on its either side, a difference in peel strength between native material layers on both sides is approximately equal, preferably less than 2.0 gf/mm2. The negative electrode active material layer consists of a carbon material, especially black coal carbon or graphite for allowing a lithium ion to be doped and de-doped. This prevents the deterioration of capacity holding rate in charging and discharging. |
