摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of determining and collecting a liquid sample which can correctly and more efficiently determine and collect the sample regardless of a viscosity difference and is particularly fit to automatic samplers. SOLUTION: This method of determining and collecting the liquid sample uses a sample supply apparatus which can discharge the sample like pulses by a constant discharge quantity (Wn) and a weighing device, thereby collecting a required quantity of the liquid sample to a sample container. In the method, a first discharge quantity (W1) is set to a value corresponding to a fixed ratio of a minimum target value (M1) among target values as a plurality of preliminarily prepared collection quantities. The sample is supplied to the sample container until the quantity is detected by the weighing device by one or a plurality of times of the discharge operation. Then based on the judgment whether or not a target value (Mn) of the sample to be collected is R or larger times the minimum target value (M1), the discharge quantity (Wn) is changed by a rate larger than a specific ratio K or by a rate approximately conforming to the ratio K, and then brought close to the target value (Mn) by one or a plurality of times of the discharge operation.
