PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding terminal device which enables a user to visually recognize display contents of a display part even in the closed state and enables the user to visually recognize them at a relatively wide angle range. SOLUTION: A partial enclosure 109 constituting a hinge part is provided with a display part 102, and this display part 102 is made turnable around the revolving shaft of the hinge part. The open/close of the terminal device is detected by an open/close detection means 212, and it is discriminated whether display contents of the display part 102 should be inverted and displayed or not in accordance with the detection result.
