<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum head laminate. SOLUTION: This drum head laminate (10) includes upper and lower layers (12 and 14) made of synthetic plastic sheet materials and a cloth sheet material layer (16) made of impregnated polyester fibers or natural fibers sandwiched between these synthetic plastic layers. The cloth is made hard and rigid by the material which is representatively liquid or resin used for the impregnation of the cloth so that, when the drum head is struck by a drum stick or similar hard object, the cloth can make cooperative vibration cooperatively with the vibrating synthetic plastic layers. The layers are bonded to each other by using laminated adhesives. An epoxy or similar material is applied as a protective coating on the exposed surfaces at the top and bottom of the drum head.</p> |
