PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only hold the convenience for use of a master machine but also suppress the degradation in use feeling of a slave machine. SOLUTION: In a communication device 1 where a slave machine 3 is connected to a master machine 2 by radio, a device controller 8 stops at least one device 9 to be controlled in the master machine 2 only during execution of user information transmission/reception between the master machine and slave machine using radio communication only when a present reception field intensity EC in the master machine 2 of a radio wave transmitted from the slave machine 3 to the master machine 2 is lower than a reference intensity. More devices 9 to be controlled in the master machine 2 are stopped according as the present reception field intensity EC is lower. The device controller 8 always executes stop control of devices 9 to be controlled on the basis of the reception field intensity EC within the period when radio communication between the master machine and the slave machine is possible. Further, the device controller 8 performs the stop control of devices 9 to be controlled on the basis of an average reception field intensity EA calculated on the basis of the history of the past reception field intensity EC wen user information transmission/ reception is started.
