PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient keyboard and its device even to a user who is unfamiliar with bland touch about a keyboard and its device. SOLUTION: Plurality of key switches 8 are arranged on the keyboard 5, and each switch 8 can detect a touched state and a pressed state being equal to or more than a prescribed level with respect to its key top and output 1st and 2nd signals representing the states respectively. A key input device is provided with the keyboard 5, a displaying means 2 that can display a plurality of display marks (key switch mark 8a', icon 8b', etc.), on the screen, and a controlling means 20 which makes each key switch 8 on the keyboard 5 correspond to each display mark 8a' or 8b' on the screen, also changes display forms of a corresponding display mark according to a 1st signal input from any of key switches 8 and energizes the function of the corresponding display mark according to a 2nd signal input.
