PURPOSE: A method of managing channel resources in IMT-2000 base station system is provided which stores channel resource data in buffers, hashes the buffers according to the index of a hash table and links the buffers in a linked list structure based on the index of the channel resource data, to reduce the processing time for searching and updating the channel resource data and improve efficiency in using of memory. CONSTITUTION: When a channel resource is assigned at the request of call establishment, buffers are allocated to the channel resource. The buffers store information about the channel resource. Then, the buffers are registered to a hash table. When the channel resource is required to be cancelled, the channel resource is searched through the hash table. When the channel resource is found, the channel resource is deleted from the hash table and the buffers storing the information about the channel resource are cancelled.
