PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable image recording material excellent in film forming property in production, having improved image preservability after heat development, that is, improved resistance to the coloration of the white background when allowed to stand at high temperature and excellent also in the brittleness of the film. SOLUTION: In the heat developable image recording material with an image forming layer containing at least one non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent for silver ions and a binder on the base, the binder is formed from a dispersion of fine polymer particles having a core/shell structure and the gelling rate of the shell part of the core/shell structure is lower than that of the core part.
