PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize increase in efficiency, size reduction, and a long service life of a rotating electric machine, by providing a rotating electric machine which radiates heat in a stator coil efficiently. SOLUTION: Since a refrigerant passage of a high heat conductive material is arranged within the slot of a stator, the radiation area of a coil increases, and this rotating electric machine can enhance cooling of the coil, Moreover, this divided core machine with concentrated winding has such a structure that the iron core of the stator is divided into a core back and teeth, and here the winding resistance is low, and a coil end and the refrigerant passage are arranged close via an insulator, so that a stator where the thermal resistance of the coil end is reduced can be obtained, and realize increase in efficiency and reduction of the machine can be realized.
