PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a portable electric equipment to be used, even after a microcomputer is reset by switching on/off the semiconductor switching element with a simple switch. SOLUTION: A battery driven portable electric equipment comprises a microcomputer 2 to be reset, when a battery voltage is lowered to a set voltage driven by a battery 1, a switching circuit 3 for controlling on/off a power supply switching element 4 connected to the battery 1 and to be reset, when the battery voltage is lowered to the set voltage, and an operation switch 5 for controlling on/off the circuit 3 and outputting a pulse signal for switching the circuit 3. Furthermore, the equipment has a first set voltage for resetting the microcomputer 2 and a second set voltage for resetting the switching circuit 3, and setting the second voltage to a voltage lower than the first voltage.
