BRUSH HOLDER AND DYNAMO-ELECTRIC MACHINE HAVING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a brush holder which will bring about vibration or noise due to abnormally exciting force of a brush during an operation and a dynamo-electric machine having the same. SOLUTION: A fixing plate 15a of a cover plate 25 is placed on a base plate 11b of a brush holder mount 11. A caulked protrusion 14a and a positioning protrusion 14c of a contour frame 24 are respectively inserted into its caulked protrusion insertion port 15c and a positioning protrusion insertion port 15d. Then a stopper protrusion 14b is made to against with the plate 15a and an oblique surface of a trapezoidal recess 14a is pressed by a pressing protrusion 25b to form a case-like brush holder 23. The protrusion 14a next inserted into a caulked hole 11c of the plate 11b. Its end caulked to the plate 11b, so that an integrated brush holder 28 having a high rigidity in both axial circumferential directions in completed.
