The invention relates to a magnetoelectric rotor with claws, employed in a fast synchronous machine. According to the invention, the claw rotor with 2N poles comprises one first part made of magnetic material (1) which has an axial hub (2) with one free end (3) and the other end (4) provided with N claws (5) expanded axially, said claws (5) being peripherically located at equal distances from one another and defining between them a socket (6), a second part made of magnetic material (1') of opposed polarity to the polarity of the first part of magnetic material (1), having the same shape as the first part (1), and opposing the part (1) and also comprising N claws (5'), each claw (5') of the part (1') being located between two claws (5) of the first part (1) and vice-versa, some non-magnetic spacers (7) used as spacers for a plurality of claws (5, 5') being located between the free ends (8) of the claws (5, 5') and the bottom of the socket (6,6') of the opposing part (1,1') and some means (9) for encasing the rotor.
