A radio section (102) uses antennas (101-1 to 101-3) to receive signals transmitted in a plurality of channels. Demodulators (103-1 to 103-3) de-spread the signals in the respective channels. Reception weight generators (104-1 to 104-3) generate reception weights (1-3) for the respective signals. The common weight generator (105) uses the reception weights (1-3) to generate a common reception weight by which all the signals are multiplied. Multipliers (106-1 to 106-3) multiply the respective signals by the common reception weight, so that an array-antenna communication device receives the signals in all the channels in the same directional pattern.
