PURPOSE: An adjusting method for an optical pickup driving mechanism is provided to reduce adjusting time while improving precision in adjustment through using a semiautomatic algorithm for assembling and adjusting an optical pickup and driving mechanism. CONSTITUTION: After assembling an optical pickup, a rod volume of an indicator is adjusted to be minimum state. A detected decoding error rate is compared with a reference decoding error rate. In case of the detected rate over the reference, a repeated adjusting number is counted for deciding an assembling error by the number over a reference number. In case of the detected rate under the reference rate, a driving mechanism is transferred to a neutral location for minimize the rod volume of the indicator. The detected decoding error rate is compared with the reference for deciding the error by the detected rate over the reference. |
