PURPOSE: A refrigerant leakage prevention apparatus for scroll compressor is provided to reduce assembly procedures by assembling an intermediate plate ring to the flange of main frame, while preventing leakage of compressed gas without being influenced by an upsetting moment. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant leakage prevention apparatus comprises a swirling scroll(40) rotating by being coupled to a motor shaft supported to be rotatable by a main frame(20) mounted within a case; a fixed scroll(50) coupled to the main frame in such a manner that the fixed scroll is coupled with the swirling scroll and forms a compression chamber; an intermediate plate ring(90) assembled to a flange(21) of the main frame so as to support the fixed scroll; two or more bushes(70) fitted to the intermediate plate ring; a bolt(80) and a nut(81) inserted into the bush so as to mount the fixed scroll to the main frame.
