PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably join materials of different kinds to each other, in particular, to securely join an intermetallic compound to other kind of material. SOLUTION: A base member 7 is arranged at a position away in the radial direction from a rotary shaft 2, and a mold 8 is arranged on the inner circumferential side of the base member 7. A molten metal introducing portion 9b is provided on an inner circumferential end of the mold 8, and a material 10 for the other member is arranged on the inner circumferential side of the molten metal introducing portion. The material for the other member is heated and melted while rotating these materials, and introduced and cast in the mold 10 though the molten metal introducing portion 9b. The materials of different kinds can be firmly joined to each other without any complicated processes or large apparatuses. Intermetallic compounds can also be joined by making use of the reaction thereof.
