<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical fixed bed adsorption tower hardly damaging even if a wire net being the holder of an adsorption material is brought into contact with corrosive gas and capable of continuing adsorption/desorption operation over a long period of time. SOLUTION: In the vertical fixed bed adsorption tower in which a granular adsorption material is packed in a tube, a granular nonadsorptive material layer having same order particle size with the adsorption material is provided under the granular adsorption material layer while contacting with the granular adsorption material layer, and moreover, at least one layer of the granular nonadsorptive material layer having larger particle size than that is provided under the nonadsorptive material layer while contacting with the nonadsorptive material layer, and the wire net having >=0.6 mm wire diameter is used as the holder of these packing materials.</p> |
