PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, rapidly, and certainly exchange cutting tools in an ultrasonic vibration machine without adding mass to a shank constituting an ultrasonic vibration body. SOLUTION: This cutting tool attaching/detaching device inserts the base end of the cutting tool 1 into a collet 16, and joins by taper a tapered surface 16A of the collet to a tapered hole 15A provided for the shank 15 of the ultrasonic vibration machine. The attaching/detaching device screws with one of the shank and the collet and axially engages with the other, the collet can be pulled and mounted into a tapered hole of the shank with a screw operation for one of the shank and the collet. The attaching/detaching device has a collet chuck 21 separable the shank from the collet, the collet can be pulled and separated from the tapered hole of the shank with the screw operation for one of the shank and the collet, and the attaching/detaching device has a collet detaching tool separable the shank from the collet. |
