<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an electric water heater for maintaining higher heat insula tion properties without any deterioration and without damaging a deposition layer at a high temperature of approximately 100 deg.C. SOLUTION: The electric water heater is provided with a heater 13 for heating water in a container 2 for storing water, a tap path for allowing water to flow, and a vacuum heat insulating material 20. In the vacuum heat insulating material 20, a heat insulating core material 22 is subjected to vacuum sealing into a laminate film 24 consisting of a gas barrier layer 28, a protection layer 29, and a seal layer 25. The gas barrier layer 28 is made of a deposition film where a copolymer resin film base of at least ethylene and vinyl alcohol is subjected to deposition.</p> |
