VIBRATION-DAMPING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDED PRODUCT THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweight thermoplastic resin composition and a molded product thereof having good vibration-damping properties and excellent in dimensional accuracy, stiffness and heat resistance. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition is composed of (a) 50-90 wt.% of an amorphous thermoplastic resin (A component) having 0.01-0.04 loss tangent (tanδ) and >=120 deg.C deflection temperature under load and (b) 50-10 wt.% of methyl methacrylate resin (B component) and the molded product formed from the resin composition exhibits physical properties represented by the following (1) to (4): (1) loss factor is 0.04-0.08; (2) water absorption is <=0.30 wt.%; (3) specific gravity is 1.05-1.3; and (4) deflection temperature under load is 110-170 deg.C.
