PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric resonance component which is capable of enhancing reliability of the electrical connection between a sweep electrode on the upper surface of a piezoelectric resonator and an external electrode part which extends to the lower surface of the piezoelectric resonance component constituted, by laminating upper and lower substrates above and below the piezoelectric resonator. SOLUTION: An upper substrate 3 and a lower substrate 4 are laminated above and below an energy sealed piezoelectric resonator 2, and a recessed part A is formed on an end face 5g of a piezoelectric plate 5 comprising the piezoelectric resonator 2 rather backward the end face on the same side of the upper substrate 3. Thus, for such a piezoelectric resonance component 1, a first pull-out electrode 8a electrically connected to a first vibrating electrode 6 is connected to an external electrode part 13a, which reaches the lower surface of the piezoelectric resonance component 1 at a position on the lower side of the piezoelectric plate 5, by a connecting electrode 12 formed in the recessed part.
