PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repository whose anti-theft properties can be enhanced without increases in costs and weight. SOLUTION: The repository 1 includes a body 2 having an engaged part 2c; a closing element 3 for closing the open part 2A of the body 2; a lock member 5 having an engagement part 5b; a movement means 12 for moving the lock member 5 between a lock position and an unlock position; and a multi-way movement means 32 for moving the lock member 5 in the lock position in a direction different from that in which the lock member is moved by the movement means 12, to bring the engagement part 5b into engagement with the engaged part 2c.
