PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the length of an output shaft by eliminating the protrusion of the output shaft toward the opposite side to an output side, and make effective use of a stroke of the output shaft. SOLUTION: This actuator 20 is provided with a driving nut member 26 disposed in a hollow shaft 25 of a rotor 24 of a motor 22, and the output shaft 27 passing through the hollow shaft 26 and having screw 27a screwed with a screw 26a of the driving nut member 26 on its outer periphery. The actuator 20 outputs rotating power generated on the rotor 24 of the motor 22 as direct- acting power from the output shaft 27 with both screws 26a, 27a screwed with each other. The output thereof is produced with the output side of the output shaft 27 on the same side as the position of the driving nut member 26, from a position next to the position the output shaft 27 is made to conduct direct- action between the position of the driving nut member 26 and the end of the opposite side of the output of the hollow shaft 25, and a guide mechanism 40 is provided which makes the output shaft 27 act directly.
