A portable data processing terminal, comprising: a housing (10) having a front face; a movable member (20) attached to said housing; and a mounting arrangement whereby said member is mounted to said housing, said mounting arrangement defining a predetermined first position, and a predetermined second position, in which said member is locatable with respect to said housing, wherein in the first position the member lies adjacent said front face, and wherein in the second position the member supports the housing in a position in which the front face is inclined with respect to the horizontal when the terminal is placed on a horizontal surface.
