<p>The two-part hollow sleeve (1) is fitted into the broom and forms a channel, into which the broom stick is inserted. The diameter of the sleeve is adapted to the that of the stick, for form a guide (7), and it has a front section with increased wall thickness (8,8'). The sleeve has peripheral slots and is expandable for insertion of the stick. The thicker section has a surface structure (11) to increase friction. The sleeve may be of natural material, e.g. bamboo, or it may be of plastic, metal, pre. of bio-degradable plastic.</p> |
