<p>A measuring system comprises a biosensor (2), a measuring instrument (1) for quantitatively determining a specific component in an organism sample with high accuracy attached to the biosensor, and an option device (22) for vocally telling the measurement procedure and the results of the measurement by the measuring instrument (1) by coupling the option device (22) to the measuring instrument (1). The thus constituted measuring system enables even a person having weak eyes or a person not familiar with the handling of the device to do measurement and to recognize the results of the measurement. Even when a plurality of users need speech functions, the users only have to possess only the measuring instruments for managing measurement data. The option device can be shared by the users, thereby lessening the economical burden on the users. Even if a speech output unit fails, only the option device have to be repaired or replaced, and the measuring instrument can be used as it is. Therefore the convenience of the users is improved.</p> |
