The automatic unit (1) for regular issue of medicaments comprises a medicament issuing system (4) and a programmable control system (3). The latter includes a microprocessor (6), a timer (11), a nonvolatile memory (7), a liquid crystal display panel (9), and means (10) for producing optical and acoustic signals. An independent claim is also included for a method for regular administering medicaments with use of the proposed automatic unit.
