PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water level-controlling tool for a paddy field, capable of automatically keeping the water level required for the paddy field to reduce the labor of a rice farmer and to provide a margin time. SOLUTION: This water level-controlling tool is characterized in that: a hole (7) is bored in a plate body (6); a rod body (3) is penetrated into the hole (7); a rod body (5) and a plate body (4) are attached to the rod body (3); holes (9) and (10) are bored in a cylindrical body (1); a bellow-shaped hose (8) is attached to the holes (9) and (10); the plate body (6) is bridged; and a buoyant buoy (2) is housed in the cylindrical body (9).
