PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photo-polymerizable composition capable of being highly sensitive to not only ultraviolet lights but visible lights-infrared lights and especially excellent in color-extinguishing properties, and provide a recording material especially excellent in color-extinguishing properties and high sensitivity and capable of forming a highly contrasting and clear images. SOLUTION: This photopolymerizable composition comprises a polymerizable compound having ethylenic unsaturated bonds, a compound expressed by general formula (1)-(3) [each of G1, G4 in a heterocyclic group or an aromatic group; each of G2, G3 in an electron-attracting group; each of R1-2 and R11-12 is H, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or the like; each of L1-2, L11-12, L21-22 is methine; Y3 is O, S, or the like; each of Z1-2 is an atomic group forming a 5 or 6 membered N-containing heterocycle; Z3 is a heterocyclic group or an aromatic group with substituents having a Hammett's constant σp>0.25; each of m, m" is 1-3; m' is 0-3; X- is an anion] and a radical generating agent capable of generating radicals by mutually acting with the compound. |
