PURPOSE: A laser CRT is provided to reduce manufacturing costs and equipment costs without lowering the life of the CRT by preventing electrical discharge between flanges, a laser target and members connected to the laser target at the same time that electric circuits connected to a cathode are grounded. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage application part(7) passes through a vacuum bulb(1) with a predetermined distance from metal flanges(5,6). A laser target(3) is electrically insulated from the metal flanges, and is connected to the high voltage application part through a conductor(9) positioned within the bulb. Two shield electrodes(11,12) are installed in a space between a bulb wall, the flanges, the high voltage application part and the conductor, are respectively coupled to the high voltage application part and the flanges, and are extended toward each other to prevent electrical discharge between the flange and the high voltage application part and between the flange and the conductor.
