PURPOSE: A cogeneration system with a generator using both gas and gasoline is provided to use gas in normal operation, and gasoline in emergency with an emergency generator. CONSTITUTION: A cogeneration system is composed of an engine unit generating power with gas and gasoline, a generator for producing power by the engine unit, and a heat exchanger for generating steam and hot water by coolant and exhaust heat of the engine unit. The generator consists of a gas solenoid valve(20) supplying and shutting off gas according to operation of the generator, a pressure regulator(40) keeping constant pressure with adjusting gas flow, a gas regulating and mixing unit(60) controlling gas supply according to the load of the generator as well as mixing gas and gasoline, and a controller(100) stopping the engine in emergency and controlling the supply of gas and gasoline by detecting gas supply, temperature of exhaust gas and pressure of engine oil. The controller supplies power from the generator in emergency by detecting the power supply.
