ADDRESSABLE TV BROADCASTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An addressable TV broadcasting system is provided to broadcast a particular program to a particular group if necessary by allowing a broadcasting station to define viewers and insert control data for limiting to a receiving allowable group. CONSTITUTION: A host computer(1) transmits a control data signal that has been inserted into a broadcasting program and transmitted by a broadcasting station. A data inserting part inserts data transmitted from the host computer(1) into the broadcasting program. A signal dividing part(3) divides the signal data inserted into the broadcasting program in a TV receiver. A central processor(4) performs instructions of the divided control data. An addressing part(5) addresses the central processor(4). A communication modem(7) allows a receiver to transmit the data signal to the host computer(1) under the control of the central processor(4). A memory(6) stores the data addressed and received from the host computer(1).
