摘要 PURPOSE: A method for allocating a channel bandwidth in a B_WLL(Broadband Wireless Local Loop) is provided to minimize a consumed channel bandwidth and maximize the efficiency of use by allocating a downstream channel bandwidth to an integer times of an upstream channel bandwidth. The method is also provided to easily demultiply a clock by locking the upstream channel frame period and the downstream channel frame period. CONSTITUTION: An RSD is a downlink Reed_Solomon code bit rate and an RSU is an upstream Reed Solomon code bit rate. The RSD and RSU are transformed to a symbol rate. A downlink symbol rate to an upstream symbol rate is similar to an RSD/RSU. Because the RSD/RSU is set to an integer and a downlink channel bandwidth to an upstream channel bandwidth is also similar to the RSD/RSU, the downlink channel bandwidth and the upstream channel bandwidth are allocated such that the downlink channel bandwidth to the upstream channel bandwidth is an integer. In this way, an upstream frame period and downstream frame period are always identical, and therefore a hardware for locking the upstream and downstream frames is easily implemented. Also, a small bandwidth of guard channel is formed, and therefore the efficiency of using the channel bandwidth increases.
