PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a display panel, in which a image suppressing a spurious profile can be displayed without generating flicker even though the vertical synchronization frequency of input signals is low. SOLUTION: In a display panel that plural light emitting elements form a display screen, each of the elements emits light beams only during light emitting time corresponding to the luminance level of input video signals in a unit display period. The period is divided into a front half first driving period and a back half second driving period. In the first driving period, the elements continuously emit light beams over a first light emitting time in the light emitting period. In the second driving period, the elements continuously emit light beams over the residual second light emitting time.
