COOLING METHOD FOR STEAM TURBINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the cooling period of time for a steam turbine when stopped for inspection. SOLUTION: This cooling method is accomplished by a first cooling process of cooling the steam turbine until the steam turbine temperature reaches a designated temperature after the stop of the steam turbine and a second cooling process of removing a second thermal insulation layer 14 and further cooling the steam turbine when the steam turbine temperature becomes a designated value or lower.
