PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accurate and safe linear slider, assuring easier process to lay the power feeding cable or air piping by reducing the heat to be transferred to a table form an armature portion. SOLUTION: In the linear slider easing the table 4 for a fixing tray 1 to more freely with a linear motor 5, there is provided a structure where an air duct 13 is provided to circulate the cooling air in the moving direction of a rotor 11 within the table 4, an intermediate seat 12 having the width size b2 narrower than a horizontal width b1 of an armature portion is provided between the table 4 and the armature portion as the rotor 11, and the cooling air is exhausted toward an armature coil 9 of the rotor 11 via a space portion S from an exhaust port 13B of the air duct 13. Thereby, when the rotor 11 is moved, the heat generated from the armature portion is effectively removed to control transfer of heat to the table and thermal deformation.
