The method works by evaluating wheel speeds. It comprises of several partial methods, e.g. programs A,B,S,V, each representing an independent functional method for measuring tire pressure. The steps of these partial methods are carried out in parallel or quasi-parallel. Brake force and/or traveling dynamics, and tire pressure are controlled by a device containing a microprocessor, which is linked to wheel speed sensors and to sensors for vehicle dynamics.
