A machine includes at least one magazine (C) for storing a stack of under-toes (P), situated in a pick up station (50), in which the under-toes are picked up. In a working station (60), a picked up under-toe (P) is applied to a forepart of a shoe upper (T) resting on a support surface (61). The under-toe is picked up by a pick up device (31) from the magazine (C), and then transferred to the application station (60), while an adhesive previously applied to an under-toe lower surface is simultaneously activated before the under-toe is applied to the forepart of the upper and finally, pressed thereonto with a predetermined force and for a predetermined period of time. |
