<p>The convenience of a car radio receiver for digital audio broadcast (DAB) is improved. The audio service components in an ensemble of DAB can be detected by using information on FIC of a transmission frame. A DAB car radio receiver (10) is provided with an exclusive key (25) exclusively used for instruction to do an overall audio service component scanning. When the user operates the key (25), all the audio service components belonging to the same ensemble to which the audio service component being outputted from the loudspeaker belongs are outputted sequentially at regular time intervals from the loudspeaker. The user can designate a language that the user understands. When an announce broadcast starts, the language of the announce broadcast is examined. Only if the language is the designated language, interruption by the announce broadcast is allowed.</p> |
