<p>The invention concerns a copy-protected disc and a method for protecting such a disc. The disc comprises a main spiral track (1) and a secondary track (2) interposed partly between the turns of the main track. The sectors of the secondary track and those opposite the main track bear the same addresses (A to A+Q) and comprise a characteristic identifier of the track where they are located. The inventive method consists in identifying said structure by a series of readings of the sectors of the protective zone (A to A+Q) starting from the addresses respectively before and after said zone. The invention is applicable to discs such as CD-ROM or DVD-ROM protected against piracy.</p> |
