SOLUTION: Thisα-vinyloxyalkylacrylic acid ester can be produced, for example, by transetherifying anα-hydroxyalkylacrylic acid ester of the following general formula (2) CH2=C(COOR1)-CHR2-OH (R1 is a hydrogen atom, an organic residue or a counter ion; R2 is a hydrogen atom or an organic residue) with a vinyl ether of the following general formula (3) CH2=CH-O-R3 (R3 is an organic residue).
